Discover the ancient art of ceramic hand-building in this tactile, process-oriented course. This class is designed for those who want to create functional and sculptural forms without the use of a pottery wheel. We will explore the three foundational pillars of hand-building—pinching, coiling, and slab construction—while learning the essential chemistry of glazes and the firing process.
